About Sister's Sauce

Sister's Sauce is a clean bloody mary mix handcrafted in Georgia. The original version was created in 1965 by founder Nat Hendricks’ father, Pete while attending Washington & Lee University because he wanted a light bloody mix. Over the years, Pete’s “bloodies” highlighted special events, Nat’s Sewanee parent’s weekends, and many a tailgate.

Fast forward to 2015 when Nat began to look outside his daily grind at a logistics firm for a more creative profession. Inspired by his family’s love of entertaining and cooking and his passion of health and wellness (Nat regularly practices meditation and yoga), he decided to create a clean bloody mary mix.

Sister’s Sauce is gluten and fat free with no MSG, additives or high-fructose corn syrup. Sister’s Sauce has no secret ingredients; it’s just a classic, simple bloody mary mix boasting tomato juice, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, Lea & Perrins Worcestershire, horseradish, Tabasco, salt, pepper and garlic.  Esteemed locations such as Blackberry Farm in Walland, TN, The Garden & Gun Club in Atlanta and Old Edwards Inn in Highlands, NC, have chosen Sister’s Sauce as their only bloody mix. A full list of locations is available here.

“Sister,” Pete’s first English Setter hunting dog, was Nat’s first word. Her legacy lives on via Sister’s Sauce and in her eighth and ninth generations at the family farm in Starrsville, GA where Nat (the 10th generation in a long line of Southerners) continues the family tradition of bird hunting.
